SASKATOON — A 36-year-old man has been arrested after an incident in a city parking lot on the east side of the city.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. on July 30, patrol officers responded to a parking lot in the 3900 block of 8th Street East after receiving a report of a possible impaired driver. When police arrived and approached the vehicle, the driver accelerated and drove into a building.
When officers arrested him, they observed signs of impairment but the driver refused to comply with a breath demand.
He has been charged with impaired driving, refusing a breathalyzer, driving while prohibited, and breaching court ordered conditions.
