SASKATOON — Saskatoon police are investigating the city’s eighth homicide of 2026 following the death of a 24-year-old man in Pleasant Hill on Thursday evening.
Patrol officers were called to the 200 block of Avenue V South at approximately 6:45 p.m. on July 30, after receiving a report of an injured person lying outside. The victim was taken to hospital by emergency services but died.
Members of the Saskatoon Police Major Crime and Forensic Identification Sections are continuing to investigate. An autopsy will be conducted on Aug. 4.
