SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN – A heat warning has been issued over much of the southern part of the province to start the Saskatchewan Day long weekend.
According to Environment Canada, temperatures reaching 32 C, combined with overnight lows near 16 C, are expected for the next two days. The warning adds these warm conditions will moderate through the day Aug. 2, as cooler temperatures move through the area.
Regina, Moose Jaw and communities in 140 RMs are covered by the warning.
