PRINCE ALBERT — The Prince Albert Police Service Historical Crimes Unit is renewing its request for public assistance in the disappearance of June Johnson.
Aug. 3, marked 47 years since she was last seen on Aug. 3, 1979, when she was driven to the former Marlboro Hotel in Prince Albert by a family friend.
In November 2010 Prince Albert Police searched a property in a wooded area on the north side of the North Saskatchewan River near Prince Albert. Police excavated a piece of land in Little Red River Park. The area had the foundation of where a house once stood.
June is about 5-foot-4 and approximately 130 pounds. She has brown eyes, and black hair.
