SASKATOON — A 26-year-old woman faces several charges after police say she was involved in an erratic driving incident that saw a vehicle travelling on the wrong side of the highway on Monday.
Her arrest led to the discovery that she was driving a stolen vehicle, using a fake identity, and wanted on multiple outstanding warrants.
At approximately 1:45 p.m. on Aug. 3, Saskatoon police were called to the area of Highway 5 and Highway 41 for a report of an erratic driver. It was reported to police that a vehicle was travelling on the wrong side of the road.
As officers were responding, further updates came in stating the vehicle was at College Drive and Central Avenue. Police were able to locate the vehicle driving westbound on College Drive and initiated a traffic stop.
She was charged with dangerous driving, failing to comply with court ordered conditions, obstructing police, and fraudulently impersonating another person.
