REGINA – Regina Police Service has released their statistics for their enforcement activities at the 2026 Queen City Ex.
The numbers, which only reflect activities of RPS, cover the event from July 29 to August 2. According to RPS they responded to the following calls for service during that time:.
- 60 missing children were returned safely to their caregivers/families
- There were three incidents classified as assaults: an assault, an Assault with a Weapon (bear spray) an an Assault of a Peace Officer.
- There was one weapons incident with bear spray, with no injuries reported.
- There were 11 consensual altercations. There were no charges, with individuals escorted off the grounds.
- Nine people were arrested for intoxication.
- Seven people required medical assistance.
- Two thefts were reported.
RPS said that in partnership with REAL District Security, they "maintained a proactive presence throughout the event", with both uniformed and plain clothes officers were on-site each day to support safety and security efforts.
RPS is thanking the public and REAL Security and staff for a great event.
