Regina Fall Leisure Guide cover 2026
Wondering what to do with yourself or with your family this fall and winter? The Regina Fall Leisure Guide is back and it give residents and non-residents a chance to see what is available for fun and recreation in the city.
“With more than 1,500 arts, adapted, wellness and recreation programs available this fall, we’re making it easier than ever for residents to get moving, learn something new and build healthy habits,” said Diana Burton, Director, Recreation & Cultural Services in a press release.
The guide also contains several pages of swimming lesson times and levels at the Lawson Aquatic Centre, North West Leisure Centre, and at the Sandra Schmirler Leisure Centre for people of all ages. In addition to swimming lessons, several new programs are being introduced this fall to get people out and about. According to the City, “Learn to Lift” will be offered at the Fieldhouse weight room. This two hour class will teach participants how to use strenght and conditioning equipment properly. An early morning drop-in class will also be added to the schedule.
The Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre will be home to a new program aimed at young kids called “Pre-school Engineering Makers,” which teaches children how to build and upgrade specific models. This program is open to kids between the ages of three and five.
Another new program this fall is geared towards those with physical disabilities. The Caledonian Curling Club will be home to a six-week wheelchair curling program for beginners.
