SASKATOON — A 15-year-old has been charged with second-degree murder following an investigation into the city’s fifth homicide of the year, which occurred in mid-April.
On Aug. 5, the youth, who can’t be named due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was taken into custody by members of the Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section.
On April 15, shortly after 8:30 p.m., police responded to a report of an injured and unresponsive person in an apartment. The person was declared dead at the scene by medical personnel.
