SHACKLETON – Leader RCMP are seeking to find the owner of a boat and trailer police located during proactive patrols near Shackleton.
On Aug. 6, Leader RCMP located and seized a boat on the side of Highway 32 near Shackleton. The investigation has led police to believe that the boat may have been stolen – and they are trying to find its owner.
The boat is described as a fibreglass runabout boat on a red single-axle trailer. The boat is white and light blue with a Mariner 80 h.p. outboard motor. A photo of the boat is shown.
Anyone with information regarding the owner of the boat or trailer, or anyone who has had a boat or trailer stolen that matches this description, is asked to contact Leader RCMP.
In addition, Leader RCMP are requesting any dash cam or surveillance footage that may have captured the boat in the Shackleton area around Aug. 6. If you saw this boat, or have information, please report it to police.
