SASKATOON — A 32-year-old Saskatoon man was arrested following an investigation by the Crime Reduction Team.
Saskatoon police say shortly before 2 p.m. on Aug. 6, members of the Crime Reduction Team, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, conducted enforcement action in a drug trafficking investigation with the arrest of a man in Wildwood, in the 300 block of Tait Crescent.
Following his arrest, search warrants were executed at a residence in the 300 block of Tait Crescent and on a vehicle. Police seized a Lorcin Model L-380 .380 calibre handgun (prohibited), 50 rounds of Winchester .380 ammunition, Imitation firearm, 2015 Audi A4, a Rolex watch (approximate value $14,000), $1,668 CAD, 11.3 grams of cocaine (packaged for sale), 36 fentanyl pills, 86 gabapentin pills (600 mg each), bear spray, two knives, a scale, a vacuum sealer, and assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
The man has been charged with 12 offences related to drugs, weapons, and proceeds of crime.
