Thursday, August 13th the annual trip to grab the decadent Dairy Queen Miracle Treat – the BLIZZARD will take place. Do Not Miss Out! There are kids waiting for your help at the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital. No, you haven’t met, but they will be thanking you for buying a Blizzard on Thursday.
Saskatchewan supports the 24th year that Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day has taken place. This is the only Saskatchewan member of the national Children’s Miracle Network Canada. 100 percent of the net proceeds from every DQ Blizzard Treat sold will go to that foundation. This year the money helping the specialized pediatric and maternal equipment, research and programming. Now if a “treat” isn’t in the diet, you can make a donation at your local DQ or buy the blizzard for someone else.
DQ locations will also be filling orders and have the treat ready for a pick up. Details are on the DQ website. A big thank you to locations like the Dairy Queen in Moosomin, Saskatchewan who’ve taken this day beyond anything you can imagine.
