A man is facing a total of ten charges after Regina Police were called for a suspicious person report Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were dispatched to the 4400 block of Rochdale Boulevard just before 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday where a man was believed to be carrying a knife.
When police arrived at the scene they found the suspect outside of a business, he fled the area but returned about 20 minutes later, police then arrested him without further incident.
Further investigation also relieved a loaded modified rifle, a machete, a small amount of an illegal substance and property alleged to have been stolen.
Twenty-two-year-old Peyton Stevenson is facing charges that include carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon (rifle) and possession of a scheduled substance.
He makes his first court appearance Thursday morning.
