MONT NEBO – Shellbrook RCMP are investigating a fatal rollover.
On Aug. 14 at approximately 9:20 p.m., Shellbrook RCMP received a report of a collision between two vehicles on Highway 3, approximately three kilometres west of Mont Nebo.
Officers responded along with local fire and EMS.
The sole occupant of the car was declared dead by EMS at the scene. She has been identified as a 75-year-old woman, from Walterboro, South Carolina. Her family has been notified.
The driver of the SUV was transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious in nature.
Shellbrook RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
As of Aug. 17, at 8 a.m., Saskatchewan RCMP reports there have been 59 fatal collisions with 72 fatalities on roadways policed by the Saskatchewan RCMP in 2026.
