Five community members raising $50,000 each, sounds like fun, RIGHT! Now, here’s the added level of “WHAT THE HECK”!
An auctioneer, a CEO, a lawyer, an insurance broker and a marketing/advertising specialist will be dropped into the Saskatchewan wilderness with only a day to complete a variety of tasks and survive whatever might present itself. I’m thinking gophers, prairie winds, burrs and maybe the occasional bird flying by or a deer passing.
STARS is known to fly anywhere the need arises to make your worst day the best day for you and your family. We have all heard the stories of lives being saved in rural or basically unreachable areas. Whether riding a horse, a quad, a motorcycle or working on a construction site, sitting on your back deck, we don’t know when or under what circumstance you could be making the call that has STARS flying to save your life.

To make that 50,000 dollars, it takes some door knocking, phone calls and a solid base of connections with business associates and friends to help get that co-worker, friend back to their desk or home. Cindy Michel, Harvard Media Director of Sales has two events planned heading into her time with Rescue on the Prairies.
Everyone needs to stop and have a bite to eat. Tuesday, August 25th join Cindy and friends at Regina’s Creekside Pub & Brewery. Cindy has all the details in the audio below. The cost is just $30 for burger, side and refreshment. If you can’t make it to one of the two seatings, then consider making a donation through Cindy’s page: https://give.stars.ca/p2p/site/ylSry/page/mjS4V3
