PRINCE ALBERT — The Prince Albert Police Service is advising members of the public that a Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) will take place on Aug. 19 and 20 in and around the city.
The two-day program is designed to promote safe driving and enforcement will focus on:
• Impaired driving
• Distracted driving
• Seat-belt use
• Speeding
• Unlicensed driving
• Vehicle registration
• Vehicle equipment regulations
The Selective Traffic Enforcement Program is a multi-agency initiative involving members of the Prince Albert Police Service Combined Traffic Services Saskatchewan (CTSS) Unit, SGI, and other Saskatchewan law enforcement agencies.
Members of the public are reminded to obey traffic laws, drive responsibly, and ensure their vehicles are properly registered, insured, and equipped.
The Prince Albert Police Service say they thank the public for their cooperation as they work with their policing partners to enhance traffic safety and protect all road users.
