LITTLE RED RIVER — Prince Albert RCMP are working to locate the suspect and a vehicle allegedly involved in a firearm discharge in the community of Little Red River.
On Aug. 23 at around 3:15 a.m., Prince Albert RCMP received a report of a firearm discharge.
The investigation determined two vehicles drove by a residence. A firearm was discharged, striking the residence. The occupants did not report physical injuries to police.
Prince Albert RCMP began patrolling for the suspects with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP’s remotely-piloted aircraft system and Police Dog Services. A male was arrested during the search, but further investigation determined he was not involved with the firearm discharge. One of the suspect vehicles was located, abandoned, on a nearby grid road.
Prince Albert RCMP continue to investigate, including working to locate the second suspect vehicle.
It’s described as a black car with a silver stripe and bright headlights.
