STANLEY MISSION — Stanley Mission RCMP are investigating an ATV-related fatality.
On Aug. 28 at approximately 11 p.m., Stanley Mission RCMP received a report of an ATV collision at the intersection of Highway 915 and Bear Avenue in Stanley Mission.
The investigation determined an ATV collided with a sign. The adult male driver was taken to hospital by EMS where he was later declared dead. He has been identified as a 34-year-old from Stanley Mission. His family has been notified.
Stanley Mission RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
As of Aug. 31, at 1 p.m., Saskatchewan RCMP reports there have been 62 fatal collisions with 75 fatalities on roadways policed by the Saskatchewan RCMP in 2026.
