MARENGO, Sask. – Kindersley RCMP are investigating a fatal collision near Marengo.
On Sept. 1 at approximately 4:25 p.m., Kindersley RCMP received a report of a collision on Highway 7, approximately six kilometres west of Marengo.
Officers responded along with local fire and EMS.
The investigation determined a pick-up truck and a semi truck collided.
The driver of the pick-up truck was declared dead by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a 63-year-old man from Sylvan Lake, Alta. His family has been notified.
The driver of the semi-truck reported no physical injuries to police.
Kindersley RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
