SASKATOON, Sask. — The Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) is investigating an aggravated assault that occurred in the afternoon of Sept. 5.
According to the SPS, at approximately 1 p.m., police were called to the 200-block of Avenue K South for a report of an injured person.
Officers arrived on scene and located a 34-year-old woman with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, which the SPS said were consistent with a stabbing. She was transported to hospital by paramedics for further medical treatment.
