REGINA, Sask. — Two people have been arrested and charged following a break and enter in Regina.
According to a news release from the Regina Police Service (RPS), at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Sept. 4, police responded to the 2800-block of Narcisse Drive for a report of a break and enter.
The RPS said an investigation determined three suspects had entered a residence, where one suspect assaulted the victim with a baton while the other two stole several items. The suspects fled the area prior to police arrival.
Officers located the victim, who was offered medical assistance but declined. The suspects and the victim were known to each other, the RPS said.
Through further investigation, the RPS said officers identified a suspect vehicle and located two of the suspects inside the vehicle at a residence in the 400-block of Lorne Street. Both were arrested without incident.
A 25-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman have been charged with break, enter and commit under the Criminal Code. Both appeared in court on Sept. 8.
The investigation is ongoing, as the third suspect has been identified but has not yet been arrested.
