MEADOW LAKE – A wanted man has been arrested by RCMP in Meadow Lake.
The officers engaged their emergency lights and attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle did not stop.
As a result of the investigation, the vehicle was located parked in Meadow Lake. No one was inside. Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services were engaged, and the police dog tracked to a house on 4th Street West. Officers arrested a man there.
As a result of the continued investigation, 24-year-old Brandon McCallum, from Meadow Lake, is charged with:
– one count, flight from peace officer;
– one count, dangerous operation of a conveyance; and
– one count, resist peace officer.
He was also arrested on a warrant for an Aug. 24 alleged assault on Canoe Lake Cree First Nation.
