SASKATOON, Sask. — A 41-year-old Saskatoon man who worked at St. Mary’s Wellness & Education Centre, on the city’s west side, is facing 10 charges following an investigation by Saskatoon Police Service into sexual interference at the school.
On May 26, the Saskatoon Police Service received a report of sexual interference involving a staff member at a school in the 300 block of Avenue N South. At that time, members of the SPS Child Abuse Unit began investigating.
Following the police investigation and consultation with the Crown prosecutor’s office, the man was charged with five counts of sexual assault and an additional five counts of assault. The offences are believed to have occurred between Sept. 1, 2025, and May 25, 2026, and involve five victims who were approximately 10 years of age at the time of the offences.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Sept. 16.
