LUSELAND, Sask. — The Luseland Police Service responded to the following calls during August.
LPS received four scam complaints.
LPS received three suspicious vehicle, activity, persons reports.
LPS responded to an incident involving an aircraft.
LPS received a general driving complaint.
LPS received three impaired driving complaints. In one such incident, a driver was removed from the road due to excessive fatigue.
LPS issued a three-day license suspension and vehicle impoundment to a motorist who was found to be above the provincial limit for alcohol consumption.
LPS received four bylaw complaints.
LPS received a report of mischief under $5,000. The complaint was unfounded.
LPS received two alarm calls.
LPS responded to a break-and-enter resulting in theft under $5,000.
LPS received two Mental Health Act calls for service.
LPS received an abandoned vehicle complaint.
LPS received a request to keep the peace.
LPS received a report of a grass fire.
LPS responded to a report of a cyclist causing a road safety hazard.
LPS responded to a firearms complaint.
LPS received a report of a family dispute.
LPS received a report of theft under $5,000. The report was withdrawn at the request of the complainant.
LPS responded to a disturbance.
