SASKATOON, Sask. — Saskatoon police are investigating an aggravated assault that send a 21-year-old man to hospital Friday night in the city’s west side Friday night.
At around 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 11, police were called to the 300 block of Avenue M South for a weapons and injured person call. Dispatch information outlined that a woman was kicked by a man and that the man was confronted by a separate man who was hit with a baton. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Arriving officers located a 21-year-old man with injuries consistent with an assault with a knife. He was transported to hospital by paramedics with what were believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
