The Rock Show has arrived at Mosaic Stadium! The buzz starts to escalate for the Foo Fighters tonight and everyone is writing about it. If you haven’t heard, traffic might be your worst nightmare whether going to the show or just attempting to get to whatever you do on a Tuesday in Regina.
First, everyone loves driving. Visitors, the curious and just Regina drivers might get hot under the collar if traffic grinds to a stand-still. Relax. Think of walking, respecting the neighbourhoods along your way to the concert. There is no special transit running, however certain establishments are running buses. There is of course Uber, taxi service or friends that offer rides, perhaps you bought a parking pass for REAL District. That area is SOLD OUT. Fans can be dropped at the Lewvan entrance, Princess Street also can be used as a drop off location. Elphinstone will be closed from Saskatchewan Drive to Dewdney Avenue to allow for free flow foot traffic.
Merchandise for the concert is available today before the show and of course within the stadium once the gates open. Heads up, people will be waiting to get front row and from all the stories around, people are coming from all over the world to little ole Regina. This prairie performance will be epic, if you haven’t heard, Dave Grohl did visit Regina when he was a kid playing with SCREAM. Let there be music over the Queen City.
Cannot wait for tonight, bundle up! Well, I will because those 600 sections could be a bit chilly. My ticket is up there for a reason or two. The experience of sitting there, the ticket price was exactly set for my budget. Whether I’m up to dancing high above field level, will be seen, it might just be too lofty!
