PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — Police are renewing calls for public help in the decades-old murder of Jean Lachance, a mother of five whose death remains unsolved 35 years later.
Sept. 15, marks 35 years since Jean LaChance was found deceased in a wooded area south of the Victoria Hospital. The police investigation determined she was the victim of a homicide. Jean was last seen in the 3500 block of 2nd Avenue West at approximately 2 a.m. on Sept. 15, 1991.

Jean had five children between the ages of four and 11 at the time of her death and those children are now adults who continue to search for answers, say police.
The Prince Albert Police Service Historical Crimes and Missing Persons Unit (HCMPU) continues to investigate and anyone with information in relation to the homicide of Jean LaChance is asked to contact police at 306-953-4222.
