ROSE VALLEY, Sask. — A Yellow Quill First Nation man charged in connection with a shooting in the community has appeared in court again.
Mounties say a man was found with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds in the early morning hours of June 13, and a vehicle was burned at the scene.
Kain Cheechan, 26, faces several charges, including discharging a firearm with intent and arson.
He appeared in Rose Valley Provincial Court Sept. 16 and was remanded in custody until Oct. 7.
