The Ag Transport Coalition reports system order fulfillment performance improved modestly last week, with CN and CPKC Rail combined, supplying 94% of shipper orders, an improvement from the 91% performance seen the prior week.
The improvement reflects some improvement for each railway.
System performance remains at 90% or better for a third straight week.
In supplying 88% of cars ordered by shippers in week 6, CN saw performance improve slightly from the 86% order fulfillment performance seen in week 5.
CN performance remains at 80% or better for a third consecutive week.
Meanwhile, in supplying 98% of shipper orders last week, CPKC performance improved from the 93% order fulfillment performance seen the prior week.
CPKC performance remains at 90% or better for a nineteenth consecutive week.
