SASKATOON, Sask. — One woman was arrested and faces multiple charges following an assault with a weapon in Meadowgreen Saturday morning.
At around 6:10 a.m. on Sept. 19, Saskatoon police were dispatched to the 300 block of Montreal Avenue South for a report of an injured person. Initial information outlined that a woman had stabbed a man.
Arriving officers located and arrested a 23-year-old woman. A 31-year-old man was also located and observed to have what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries consistent with an assault with a knife. He was taken to hospital for further medical treatment.
The victim and suspect are believed to be known to each other, say police.
The 23-year-old woman has been charged with break and enter, assault with a weapon and breach of court-ordered conditions. She was also found to have outstanding warrants for her arrest.
