The Regina Pats have a new specialty jersey this WHL season, which will be worn for the first time at their home opener on Sunday afternoon against the Swift Current Broncos.
The logo features Reg (Regina) the Bulldog, the mascot adopted by the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry during the First World War. The shoulder patch features a bulldog silhouette with the word “Pats” written inside.
The jersey’s main colour is the traditional Pats blue before it was changed to navy in 2015.

The Pats lost their season opener 7-4 in Prince Albert last Friday. Their next game is Friday in Brandon before their home opener on Sunday.
