Autumn 2027 is still very young and already food and beverage makers are churning out some odd flavours for the season. In a time of pumpkin-spiced everything, food and beverage makers have taken a whole new step forward…or backwards, depending on how you feel about these new pairings.
Shock Top Beer has released a candy corn flavoured beer just in time for the Halloween candy buying season. It’s a limited edition wheat ale, flavoured like candy corn, and reviews have been somewhat positive. Those who have tried it claim it’s not overly sweet or have a strong candy corn flavour. Perhaps this idea comes from the same minds that gave us Coors Light Ice Tea beer!
Speaking of candy corn, perfume maker Brach is making a new candy corn flavoured scent. Those who absolutely love the candy can now walk around smelling like it. According to the makers of the product, there are hints of vanilla, spun sugar, and honey in the perfume, which has proven to be quite popular amongst the public. Kraft Dinner Canada has teamed up with a Canadian soda maker to release a macaroni and cheese flavoured pop. The Kraft Dinner Cream Soda beverage is only available in Canada and on sale on Amazon. Kraft-Heinz partnered with soda maker Solly’s of Toronto to create the new fall beverage designed for those who love two things – Kraft Dinner and pop. Each can sells for $2.95, an 8-pack is $21.80, and for those die-hard Kraft Dinner Soda fans, a 24-pack is 64.95! Earlier this year Kraft-Heinz partnered with a bakery in Toronto to make and sell Kraft Dinner cheesecake.
Dr. Pepper is also getting an update this winter. Get ready for Dr. Pepper Ice Cream Float Flavour. Reports say the drink will have a blend of butterscotch, caramel, and vanilla flavours in addition to the regular Dr. Pepper flavour. This isn’t the first time Dr. Pepper fans have expereinced new flavours from the company. In the past they’ve released creamy coconut and blackberry flavours. The ice cream float flavour is expected to be released in early 2027 in both sugar and non-sugar varieties.
Betty Crocker isn’t going to be outdone this fall. While they haven’t released any unsual cake flavours this fall, they have released their own line of cake purses! Each purse is triangular in shape and opens at the top. Purses come in three different styles – yellow cake, chocolate fudge, and strawberry cake. The iconic Betty Crocker spoon logo acts as the zipper pull on each purse, which are on sale on their website.
