FOAM LAKE, Sask. — A partial bull elk carcass was found abandoned near Foam Lake Sept. 24.
Wadena conservation officers responded to a TIPP call reporting that a bull elk had been shot and left to waste. The elk was found with one rear quarter, one front quarter and its head removed. The rest of the animal was left to waste.
The elk was killed within 500 metres of a residential property approximately 12 kilometres northeast of of Foam Lake.
A cash reward of up to $2000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest or conviction of the individuals involved.
