NORTH BATTLEFORD, Sask. — One of three people arrested in connection with a bank robbery and a string of ATM thefts and attempted thefts has admitted his guilt.
In North Battleford Provincial Court on Oct. 1, Joshua Meszaros, 34, of Biggar, was sentenced to 804 days in prison.
Mounties say the string of crimes took place between November 2024 and January 2025 across southern and central Saskatchewan.
RCMP Provincial GIS’ investigation included widespread coordination across many front-line detachments, police units and Crime Stoppers, to connect incidents reported in the communities of Dodsland, Rosetown, Gull Lake, Lemberg, Wolseley, Craven, Neilburg, Marshall, Battleford, Purdue, and Mosquito Grizzly Bear's Head Lean Man First Nation.
