YORKTON, Sask. — A Calder man convicted of manslaughter has appeared in court again.
In June 2023, Mounties were called to a home in the Calder district to conduct a wellness check on 61-year-old Bentley Baumung (Bombing), who was found dead at the scene.
The next day, 51-year-old Curtis Sokoloski was arrested in Russell.
In Yorkton Court of King's Bench Oct. 6, Sokoloski had his sentencing date set for Dec. 11.
