The Saskatchewan Roughriders are bringing back a pair of young offensive linemen who gained valuable CFL experience in 2026.
The Riders announced Tuesday that they signed Americans Thomas Perry and Jaison Williams, adding two familiar faces to the offensive line as the Green and White prepare for the 2027 campaign.
Both players made their CFL debuts late in the 2026 regular season.
Perry, 23, appeared in three regular-season games after debuting against the Montreal Alouettes on Oct. 12. The 6-foot-3, 312-pound offensive lineman started two games at left guard for Saskatchewan.
The Vermont native signed with the Roughriders in April after attending NFL rookie mini-camps with the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025.
Perry spent four seasons at Middlebury College, appearing in 34 games. He started at guard in each of his final 30 collegiate appearances and earned Division III All-American honours from both Walter Camp and the American Football Coaches Association in 2024.
He was also a three-time first-team All-New England Small College Athletic Conference selection and became the first Middlebury player to participate in the East-West Shrine Bowl.
Williams, 25, signed with Saskatchewan in February and spent most of the 2026 season on the team's practice roster before making his CFL debut at right tackle on Oct. 24.
The 6-foot-4, 320-pound lineman also started at right tackle in Saskatchewan's regular-season finale against Edmonton.
Williams originally signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft and attended training camp with the club.
He spent six collegiate seasons at Youngstown State, making 52 starts. As a senior in 2024, Williams started all 12 games at right tackle and was named the program's top offensive lineman after allowing just one sack and posting a 98 percent pass-protection efficiency rate.
A versatile addition to the offensive line, Williams has started at every position up front except centre. He was a four-time All-Missouri Valley Football Conference selection and earned third-team All-American honours in his final collegiate season.
Bringing back Perry and Williams gives the Roughriders two young offensive linemen with some CFL experience as the club looks to maintain depth and competition up front heading into the off-season.
