YORKTON, Sask. — An 18-year-old Yorkton man facing terrorism-related charges has made another court appearance.
The man, who cannot be named because he was a youth when the alleged offences occurred, appeared in Yorkton provincial court Nov. 5, where he was released from custody. His matters were adjourned until Nov. 30.
Police say their investigation began after the individual allegedly posted videos showing real-world activity connected to the online network known as 764.
The RCMP says 764 is a transnational network linked to the exploitation of children, including coercion into violence, self-harm and sexual exploitation.
