REGINA, Sask. — YQR Firefighters are going to be making some smoke at the Regina International Airport on Nov. 9.
The crews will participate in a Live-Fire Requalification. This annual exercise is mandated by Transport Canada through the Canadian Aviation Regulations.
The Regina Airport Authority advises that smoke might be visible around Regina International Airport beginning at 7:30 a.m. and lasting throughout the day. This annual live-fire requalification ensures the crews are ready to respond to any fire-related emergency, the authority says.
