Another 32 new cases of COVID-19 have been announced in Saskatchewan Wednesday, the lowest single-day total since October 14, 2020.
The new cases are located in Saskatoon (10), Regina (8), South East (4), Central East (3), Far north West (2), North west (2), North Central (one) and the North East (one). One case is still pending residence location. Two cases were added to the provincial total from out-of-province tests.
A resident in their 70s from the North West zone has died after testing positive for COVID-19. The death toll now sits at 565.
64 people have recovered, and the active case count is down to 607. That’s the lowest total in Saskatchewan since October 24, 2020.
There are 75 people in hospital with COVID-19; 63 receiving inpatient care and 12 in ICU.
The seven-day-average for cases is 61, which is equal to five for every 100,000 residents.
Another 1,807 tests were processed Tuesday.
Vaccine numbers progressing in Saskatchewan
Another 18,423 doses of COVID vaccine were administered in Saskatchewan on Monday. A total of 1,023,698 doses have now been administered in Saskatchewan.

The province has received another 86,660 doses of Moderna vaccine for the week of June 21.
The province is also reporting 30 percent of eligible residents are now fully vaccinated.
Eighty percent of resident 40 and older have received at least one dose, while 75 percent of those 35 and older have received at least one dose.
Starting Thursday, everyone in Saskatchewan who received a COVID vaccine four weeks ago or earlier will be eligible for a second dose.
