Ronnie Milsap climbed to the top of the charts for two weeks starting on July 15th, 1977 with “It Was Almost Like a Song.”
Waylon Jennings started his third and final week at number one with “Amanda.”
Eddy Raven landed his eighth number one on this day in 1989 with “In a Letter to You.”
