This is the time of year when it’s fun to hit the open road and go for a country drive. The unplanned drives are the best where you just let your imagination, map, and vehicle take you somewhere across the prairies and usually you find something really fascinating along the way.
When you hit the open road, whether is be for a vacation or just a day trip, what country songs would make your road trip playlist? It’s one of those questions that seems easy at first but then all of a sudden a whole ton of songs come to mind and it’s difficult to narrow it down to a top five list! For me, my top five list reflect the songs that get me excited to be out on the road, in my truck, and enjoying mother nature around me. These are songs that put one in that “let’s get going and have fun” mood. It looks as follows:
