Regina Police are looking for suspects after two street robberies earlier this week.
On Tuesday, a 24-year-old man was assaulted with a bladed weapon on the 1300 block of Robinson Street sometime before 7:00 p.m.
The victim stated an unknown man approached him as he was walking and demanded the his belongings.
When the victim refused, there was a fight and the suspect produced a bladed weapon, striking the victim several times.
The suspect who fled the scene is described as about six feet tall with a thin build, wearing a black hat, black sweater and black pants.
The victim got to the hospital via taxi.
The second robbery took place shortly before 9:00 p.m. on the 1200 block of Cameron Street, where a 72-year-old man approached the suspect who was trying to take a neighbors shopvac.
The 72 year-old victim stated he was assaulted by the suspect, who robbed him of his phone and credit cards.
The suspect was described as being 30-35 years old, dressed in black and riding a bicycle, pulling a trailer.
Police located the trailer and shopvac in the area, but did not locate the suspect or the bicycle.
Officers say they do not believe the two incidents are related at this time.
