Regina men facing several charges after weapons investigation

On Saturday morning, around 1:00 am, Regina Police conducted an investigation related to several firearms offences.

A search warrant was executed on the 600 block of Montague Street, which resulted in the discovery of a firearm and ammunition.

Two men were arrested and taken into custody.

37-year-old Marcel Joseph Pelletier  has been charged with the careless storage of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a prohibited firearm with ammo, possession of a weapon obtained by crime, and 4 counts of possession of weapon contrary to a prohibition order.

25-year-old Kashtin Reuben Thorne was charged with the careless storage of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a prohibited firearm with ammo, possession of a weapon obtained by crime, 2 counts of possession of weapon contrary to a prohibition order, failure to comply with conditions of release order, and failure to comply with a probation order.

Both men are set to make their first court appearance on Monday morning.
