A Regina woman is facing multiple charges after a single-vehicle collision that resulted in minor injuries and a dog that passed away.
Regina police were dispatched at 8:38 a.m. on Tuesday morning to the area of 2nd Avenue North and Winnipeg Street for a report of a single-vehicle collision.
Police were told the vehicle was travelling at a high rate of speed, went off the road and rolled over. The force from the rollover ejected a dog from the vehicle and died.
The woman driver and child passenger appeared to have only minor injuries, however EMS took the child to hospital as a precaution.
A drug recognition expert at the scene concluded there was reason to believe the driver may have been impaired at the time of the collision. Police also found she is a disqualified driver and had three warrants out for her arrest.
45-year-old Tammie Bedore was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a conveyance by drug, dangerous operation of a conveyance causing bodily harm and breach of probation.
Her first court appearance was on Wednesday morning.
