Erin Yewsiuk has worked in the agriculture industry her entire life. She now is a livestock photographer based in Foam Lake and works on her family ranch with her husband.
Yewsiuk is using her photography skills to give back to her industry this Christmas season.
She has put together a New Year Calendar and she’s selling the calendars as a fundraiser for the Do More Ag Foundation.
This fundraiser will help support the foundation’s mental health initiatives for workers and farmers in the province’s agriculture industry.
“Mental illness deeply impacted my family and so many in the community around us. I’ve always wanted to do something like this and this came up as an opportunity and a way to use my trade to help raise some awareness and raise some money for an organization that’s doing an awesome job in advocating for farmers and rachers,” says Yewsiuk.
The photos in the calendar are taken by Yewsiuk and they show off the beauty of Saskatchewan’s landscape and its people.
“I made a point to take a month off and going and taking pictures of different places with the idea in mind of really showcasing agriculture in our province,” says Lewisuk.
The calendars are being sold for $25 in Foam Lake at C&C Tire. They can also be ordered directly from Yewsiuk by calling or texting her at 306-560-7449.
100 per cent of the proceeds will go to the Do More Ag Foundation.
