Regina police are letting people know about a sexual assault that happened early Sunday morning in the Cathedral neighbourhood.
Police say the victim’s report says she was in the area of the 2900 block of 14th Avenue between 3:30 and 4:00 a.m when she was assaulted by an unknown suspect outside of a building. The woman than entered the building before going to hospital. It was staff at the hospital who informed police of the assault.
A search of the area where the alleged attack occurred has been done with police now looking for anyone who may have information,
Police add they will re-interview the victim when she may be better able to recall details such as a description of the suspect. At this time, they do not have one.
