The Canadian Football League (CFL) Combine will be on the move for the next two years.
Winnipeg will host the event in the spring of 2024, with Regina hosting the Combine in 2025.
The 2024 CFL Combine will run from March 19-24.
The upcoming combine season will begin on January 20, in San Diego at the Specialized Kicking Combine.
On March 8, at the the University of Waterloo’s Feridun Hamdullahpur Field House will host for the CFL Invitational Combine, where players from across the country will have the chance to join top-ranked class of draft-eligible players in Winnipeg.
The 2024 Combine will be similar to the 2023 event in Edmonton. Day One will see players take part in medical testing and measurements, while Day Two will include traditional on- and off-field testing, including the 40-yard dash, the bench press and more. Days Three to Five will be designated for practice sessions involving individual drills and one-on-ones.
2025 is shaping up to be big year on the gridiron in the Queen City. The University of Regina will be hosting the Vanier Cup that year at Mosaic Stadium.
Saskatchewan President and CEO Craig Reynolds said in a release, that the franchise is looking forward to serve as the host for the 2025 event.
“We are thrilled to be future hosts of the CFL Combine. Saskatchewan is incredibly passionate about football at all levels and we feel great pride in hosting the future stars of the CFL. With the Vanier Cup also slated for Regina, 2025 is promising to be a very exciting year for university football in our province.”
