The Regina Pats will be trading in their traditional threads for some special edition jerseys later this month.
On January 20, the RE/MAX Presents: Nickelodeon Night for Children’s Miracle Network will return when the Pats host the Medicine Hat Tigers.
Instead of the typical Red, Blue and White attire, the Pats will be donning SpongeBob SquarePants jerseys featuring Patrick Star.
Last year, RE/MAX Presents: Nickelodeon Night for Children’s Miracle Network raised $160,000 for Children’s Hospital Foundations across Western Canada.
Along with the jerseys, Pant Shells & Socks Kit will be auctioned online, with net proceeds going to Children’s Miracle Network. Winning bidders will participate in a player exchanges with details of which will be announced closer to the game date.
“The Regina Pats have had this date circled on our calendar for a long time and we can’t wait to deliver a fun, energetic game to our fans, while helping support Children’s Miracle Network,” Pats CEO Gord Pritchard said in a release. “Last year the Pats raised $29,550 in jersey auction sales that were donated to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital in Saskatoon. We’re looking forward another fun game-night and to once again help raise important funds for Children’s Miracle Network all across Western Canada and importantly here in Saskatchewan.”
