A tornado warning is in place for areas surrounding Assiniboia, Gravelbourg and Coronach.
Environment Canada issued the warning at around 4:15 Friday afternoon, and say strong winds, intense rainfall and large hail are all possible with the approaching storm cell.
A severe thunderstorm warning is also in place for the Estevan, Weyburn and Radville areas, where up to nickle-sized hail is possible in the area.
As well, thunderstorm watches are currently in place for the Carlyle-Oxbow area, as well as Shaunavon, Maple Creek and Cypress Hills.
