It could be another stormy afternoon and evening for parts of southern Saskatchewan on Saturday.
Environment Canada has issued a Severe Thunder Storm Watch for areas stretching from Kindersley to Swift Current and Moose Jaw.
“Conditions are favorable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, damaging hail and heavy rain.
A trough of low pressure tracking through southern Saskatchewan today will set off thunderstorms as it encounters the hot and humid air-mass already in place. A few of these thunderstorms are likely to become severe this afternoon over portions of southwestern Saskatchewan, with the threat of severe thunderstorms shifting east and northeast this evening towards the Manitoba border,” Environment Canada said on its website Saturday morning.
Three tornadoes were confirmed to have touched down on Friday afternoon, one on Old Wives lake, the other two near Rockglen.
