Many thought the Golden State Warriors had no chance in beating the Toronto Raptors in Game 3 of the NBA Finals in Oakland on Wednesday and they were right.
With two of their top players, Klay Thompson (hamstring) and Kevin Durant (calf) out of the lineup due to injury, the Warriors put up a valiant fight but in the end fell 123-109 to the Raptors giving them a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.
With Thompson and Durant out, it put more pressure on Stephen Curry to lead the way and he did so scoring a playoff career-high 47, but the Raptors were too much as Kawhi Leonard had 30 with Kyle Lowry getting 23 including five three-pointers as the Raptors moved to within two games of their first ever league title.
Game 4 will go Friday in Oakland.
